AD 1 - 50 A circular gold pendant mount bordered by pointed tongues of granulation and fitted at the edge with a suspension loop and an opposed cylindrical lug with carnelian cameo carved in high relief with the half-length figure of a river god, shown bearded and nude, holding an upright cornucopia in his right hand and a vessel in his left. Size: 37.4mm x 31mm; Weight: 18.9g. Provenance: Private London collection; previously with F.A., Brussels; Belgian collection formed between the early 1970s to the early 1990s.
