AD 600 A gold necklace composed of an interlaced-link chain with a hook-and-eye clasp suspending a 22kt gold cross pendant with tapering arms, the front decorated with niello-filled chevrons, the centre with a square emerald setting, the top surmounted by a suspension loop, and the lateral and lower arms hung with small pearl beads on wire drops.
