EGYPTIAN CARNELIAN GRASSHOPPER - Roman Period, Ca. 30 BC - AD 200A finely carved carnelian amulet in the form of a grasshopper, with an elongated ovoid body and slightly rounded dorsum, the wings engraved with parallel longitudinal grooves.
