RARE ROMAN RED GLASS INTAGLIO WITH LEDA AND THE SWAN IN HIGH KARAT GOLD RING - Ca. AD 1 - 200 A red glass intaglio engraved with Leda seated on a rocky base, her body turned in three-quarter view and embracing the swan of Zeus as it stretches across her knees. The intaglio is set in the bezel of a possibly later gold ring with expanding shoulders and a flat-section hoop. Size: D:16.92mm / US: 6 1/2 / UK: M 1/2; Weight: 7.6g.
