RARE EGYPTIAN BRONZE CAT FIGURE WITH GOLD EARRINGS - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC A fine bronze figure of a seated cat with an elongated body and slender forelegs set close together, the tail drawn forward along the right haunch. The small head is modelled with large eyes, a rounded muzzle and erect triangular ears pierced and fitted with a pair of plain gold wire hoop earrings. Size: 130mm x 85mm; Weight: 540g.
