HUGE EGYPTIAN WOODEN MODEL BOAT WITH ROWERS AND OARS - 1.5 meters - Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1790 BCA large wooden model boat under oars, the long narrow hull carved from a single piece with a pointed bow and a slightly raised stern, the interior hollowed. Fourteen crew figures are arranged in seated pairs along the deck, each with a red-painted body, black wig and white kilt, the arms bent forward to grip long oars with flat blades projecting over the sides.
