RARE GREEK KONOS TYPE BRONZE HELMET - Ca. 300 - 100 BC A bronze pilos helmet with a tall conical skull rising to a pointed apex and encircled by a broad brim. At the front a moulded ridge forms an upward-pointing chevron on the brow and continues as a band encircling the lower part of the bowl, terminating on each side in decorative volutes at ear level.
