COLLECTION OF BRONZE AGE / EARLY GREEK PERIOD BRONZE DAGGERS - Ca. 1100 - 800 BCA collection of three bronze daggers, including, from top to bottom: a long, narrow, double-edged dagger of triangular profile tapering to a sharp point, the shoulders leading to an integral hilt with moulded grip and rounded terminal; a dagger with an elongated blade and short ricasso, continuing into a recessed grip for inlay and a flaring pommel; and a dagger with a narrow blade and pronounced midrib, the base flowing into a waisted recessed hilt ending in a rounded butt.Size: 320-340mm x 15-45mm; Weight: 460g.Provenance: Private London collection; formerly in M.
