MEDIEVAL TWO-HANDED ESTOC SWORD - Ca. AD 1450 A medieval two-handed thrusting estoc, or referred to in England as a tuck. These straight, edgeless, but sharply pointed swords were developed to puncture gaps in armour, and were used primarily in France and England Size: 1320mm x 200mm; Weight: 1.36kg. Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Germany; formerly with H. Ulreich collection, Munich, 1960s-1970s.
