RARE ROMAN MARBLE TORSO OF ARTEMIS/DIANA - Ca. AD 1 - 200 A marble torso of a goddess, carved in a belted peplos with a deep apoptygma forming a pronounced kolpos above the girdle. A broad neckline exposes the upper chest, with drapery gathered at the shoulders and drawn across the front in layered folds. The right arm is bent across the body.
