GANDHARAN STONE RELIEF FRAGMENT - Ca. 300 - 500 AD A fragment carved in stone depicting a figure in high relief, shown wearing heavy draped garments with deeply incised, rhythmic folds characteristic of Gandharan sculpture, with stylized facial features and hands held before the chest. The figure stand upon a base decorated with stylized foliage motifs. Size: 190mm x 160mm; Weight: 8.04kg. Provenance: Private London collector (H.G); formerly in Japanese 1980s collection.
