NEO-ASSYRIAN STONE RELIEF WITH A BULL - Ca. 800 - 600 BCA stone relief fragment carved with the head of a bull in profile, with a large almond-shaped eye, prominent cheek and blunt muzzle. A drilled nostril sits below a straight nasal ridge leading back to a short, curving horn above the brow, with a patterned band of overlapping circular and spiral motifs alongside the muzzle.Size: 400mm x 225mm; Weight: 6.83kg.Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired on the London art market; formerly with R.
