APULIAN RED-FIGURE BELL KRATER WITH SYMPOSIUM SCENE - Ca. 350 BCA red-figure bell krater with a wide, bell-shaped body, short flaring foot, everted rim, and two horizontal handles at the shoulder. Side A depicts a symposium scene with two male figures reclining on klinai draped in striped textiles. Between them stands a female figure playing the double flute (aulos). The symposiasts are partially nude; each holds a drinking vessel, and the figure on the left also holds a lyre. Side B presents three draped youths standing in conversation, each wearing a himation, set against a plain background.
