CAMPANIAN RED-FIGURE HYDRIA WITH YOUNG DIONYSUS - Ca. 350 - 300 BCA red-figure terracotta hydria with a globular body on a flared foot, a tall cylindrical neck, and a broad mouth with a hanging rim, with two horizontal side handles and a vertical strap handle at the back. The main panel shows a youthful Dionysus seated in profile, with long hair bound by a fillet, holding a ribbon in his right hand and a wreath in his left, with two tympana in the field. The reverse is decorated with a large fan-shaped palmette.
