APULIAN RED-FIGURE HYDRIA WITH A SATYR HOLDING THYRSOI - Ca. 400 - 350 BCA red-figure terracotta hydria with an ovoid body on a low foot, a broad flaring mouth with a hanging rim, a vertical strap handle rising from the shoulder to the rim, and a pair of horizontal handles set on the upper body. The main panel is decorated with a satyr shown with one foot set on a rock, leaning to the left and holding thyrsoi in both hands, the figure framed by simple vegetal and scroll elements.
