CAMPANIAN RED-FIGURE BELL KRATER WITH WINGED EROS - Ca. 350 - 325 BCA red-figure bell krater with a deep, flaring body rising from a tall stem foot to a broad, outturned rim, the pair of horizontal loop handles set high on the shoulder. The exterior rim is decorated with a laurel wreath, the handle zones with large palmettes flanked by scrolling tendrils, and a continuous wave pattern encircles the lower body. On side A, a nude winged Eros stands to the left wearing a wreath and jewellery, his right hand extended and his left resting on his hip, flanked by an altar at his feet and a small bird to the left.
