CAMPANIAN RED-FIGURE AMPHORA WITH LADY OF FASHION BY THE CIRCLE OF LYCURGUS PAINTER - Ca. 350 - 300 BCA red-figure terracotta amphora with a flaring mouth, a broad cylindrical neck, an ovoid body, and a low moulded foot, with a pair of vertical strap handles rising from the shoulder to below the rim. The front panel shows a seated lady of fashion in three-quarter view, wearing a sakkos, a long chiton and mantle, and extending her right hand with a wreath. The reverse is decorated with a seated nude youth, his right hand raised.
