An oval carnelian intaglio engraved with an erotic scene, with a nude couple standing in profile, the male figure on a short groundline and the female with one leg raised against his hip, her arms clasped about his neck. Set in a possibly later gold ring with a broad, oval bezel cell and plain, tapering hoop.
