EGYPTIAN FAIENCE USHABTHI WITH INSCRIPTION - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A faience mummiform ushabti standing on a rectangular plinth with a dorsal pillar, the head framed by a tripartite wig and fitted with a false beard. The hands are held crossed over the chest, holding a pick and a hoe. The front of the body displays a vertical register of hieroglyphs.
