UNIQUE GREEK SWORD WITH SILVER INLAYS - Ca. 300 BC. An iron sword with a long, straight blade centred by a pronounced midrib, tapering to a point. The hilt has a short rectangular-section grip with a flaring pommel and a shallow guard, both with silver-inlaid decoration. Size: 650mm x 40mm; Weight: 570g Provenance: Private London collection; formerly in M. Ebnother collection, Switzerland, 1980s.
