CYPRIOT STONE HEAD OF A PRINCE - Ca. 500 - 400 BC. A stone head of a prince with an oval face and calmly modelled features. Arched brows frame almond-shaped eyes, set above a straight nose and a small mouth with full lips. Hair is swept back in wavy locks and bound across the forehead by a beaded fillet, leaving the ears exposed. For similar see: A. Kesserwani, J. M.
