RARE BRONZE AGE BRONZE DAGGER WITH SCABBARD - Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A bronze dagger with a long tapering blade and a pronounced midrib, narrowing to a sharp point. The hilt is cast with a flared butt and a recessed grip panel for inlay on each face. The dagger is accompanied by a bronze scabbard formed as a long tapering sheath with a pointed chape. Size: 335mm x 30mm; Weight: 235g Provenance: Private London collection; formerly in M. Ebnother collection, Switzerland, 1980s.
