CAMEROON DOWAYO / NAMJI DOLL - Ca. 20th century AD. >A standing figure with a small head and short arms, the doll is heavily adorned with numerous strands of multicoloured beads wrapped around the neck, torso, and waist. Additional beadwork encircles the legs. The legs are set apart in a stable stance, with the wooden body partly bound by the dense bead decoration.
