GROUP OF MATTY ISLAND FISH HOOKS - Ca. 19th - early 20th century AD. >A group comprising four fish hooks carved from shell, each formed with a broad, curved body tapering to a sharply pointed hook. Two examples retain fibre loops at the upper ends for attachment to fishing lines.
