ROMAN AGATE CAMEO OF A MUSICIAN PLAYING FLUTE IN GOLD PENDANT - Ca. AD 1 - 300. An agate cameo carved with a draped musician in profile, the head inclined towards a double flute held to the mouth. The figure is framed within a possibly later gold mount with a plain oval inner frame and a twisted wire outer border. A ribbed suspension loop is attached above.
