SELJUK GILT-BRONZE FOOTED DISH WITH KUFIC INSCRIPTION - Ca. AD 1000 - 1200. A gilt-bronze dish with a shallow circular basin, fluted cavetto, everted rim and tall spreading foot. The interior is engraved with a central medallion of interlaced ornament, surrounded by concentric foliate bands, roundels and panels of Kufic inscription.
