The Holy Rabbi Solomon Molcho (1500-32), the infamous Marrano-turned-mystic, was burnt at the stake by the Inquisition.Rabbi Chaim Vlital writes about him in his Sefer Sha’arei Kedusha that he dealt with practical kabbalah.
The first word in the sefer ihas a illustration a bouquet of flowers, above which are two cherubs holding a crown. Illustration on page 6.
