Rabbi Yitzchak Essner was the rosh yeshiva of the Yeshiva of Preshov, and also the chief rabbi of Raslovitz (Raslavice, Slovakia) following the death of his father-in-law Rabbi Avraham Shlomo Katz. He published Shulchan shel Arba (Vranov nad Toplou, 1939) by Rabbeinu Bachya, with a section called Shtei Yadoth.
