Mahari HaLevi Responsa - Venice, 1632. - Sefer She'elot U'Teshuvot  by Rabbi Yaakov ben Yisrael HaLevi Venice, 1632, first edition with new additions. Published by Giovanni Vendramin Press. In 1614, the author had previously printed a selection of his responsa. In this edition, he included additional responsa while also revising and expanding the earlier ones. Rabbi Yaakov Lavi was born in Greece around 1565. He later lived in Italy, where he gained renown as a sage and halachic authority. During his lifetime, he endured captivity and was taken to the island of Malta. Following his release, he returned to Italy and continued his rabbinic and literary work. 194 Leaves. 27.4 cm.
