The kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo ben Rabbi Yehuda Ha'Cohen lived in early 19th century. His kabbalistic books became basic kabbala books. During the years 1818-1820, he was sent by the rabbis of Jerusalem to Turkey and Greece. Authored the rare books ”Mazal Sha'ah” – novellae on Maimonides' Ha'Yad Ha'Chazakah, ”Hora'at Sha'ah” – commentary on Kavanot, ”” – Derashot for Sabbath and ”Sha'ot DE'Rabanan” – Responsa.
