Approbation by the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Katz of Prague, Rabbi of Koblenz. The sefer includes diagrams and illustrations of the Temple and its structure. Antique ownership inscription on the title page: ”Belongs to Rebbetzin M' Risel, widow of the Gaon M' Chaim Yonah, z”l.” Rebbetzin Risel was the daughter of the esteemed Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Mirlish, Av Beit Din of Berlin. After the death of his first wife (the daughter of the Gaon Rabbi David Oppenheim, Av Beit Din of Prague), the famous Gaon Rabbi Chaim Yonah Taamim married her. He was the Av Beit Din of Prezmishel, Zulz, and Breslau. After the untimely death of Rabbi Chaim Yonah, Rebbetzin Risel remarried the famous Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Ashel, Av Beit Din of Vilna, son of the Gaon Rabbi Shaul of Krakow, who had recently lost his wife, the daughter of the philanthropist and physician Rabbi Simcha Menachem of Lemberg.
