After the death of his first wife (the daughter of the Gaon Rabbi David Oppenheim, Av Beit Din of Prague), the famous Gaon Rabbi Chaim Yonah Taamim married her. He was the Av Beit Din of Prezmishel, Zulz, and Breslau. After the untimely death of Rabbi Chaim Yonah, Rebbetzin Risel remarried the famous Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Ashel, Av Beit Din of Vilna, son of the Gaon Rabbi Shaul of Krakow, who had recently lost his wife, the daughter of the philanthropist and physician Rabbi Simcha Menachem of Lemberg.
