Laminated Dollar from the Lubavitcher Rebbe – Given to Supporters of Chabad in Antwerp, Cheshvan 5742 (1981) - This laminated one-dollar bill was originally distributed by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, and later given to the leadership of Chabad in Antwerp to be presented to individuals who had significantly supported Chabad in the city — either through financial contributions or through devoted work and communal involvement. The dollar served as a personal token of appreciation and spiritual blessing from the Rebbe to those who helped establish and strengthen the presence of Chabad in Antwerp. This particular dollar was awarded to a Chassid who dedicated many years of service and unwavering support to the Chabad community in Antwerp. The bill is preserved in a clear laminated casing, and it features inscriptions in elegant gold lettering. At the top, it reads: ”מאת כ”ק אדמו”ר שליט”א לשפע ברכה והצלחה ” (”From the holy hands of His Honor and Holiness the Rebbe, Shlit”a — for an abundance of blessing and success”). At the bottom, it is inscribed: ”לעוזרים לבית חב”ד באנטורפן מרחשון תשמ”ב” (”To those who helped support the Chabad House in Antwerp – Cheshvan 5742”).
