Amud HaTorah (Rozdil). Lviv, 1853 – First Edition.


Sefer Amud HaTorah – A Work of Kabbalah and Chassidut, with Profound Intentions for Kriyat Shema Described as "Wondrous Beyond Words" (Peleh VePeleh) – as termed by the Holy Rebbi of Sanz.


Authored by the holy Rebbi Yehuda Tzvi Eichenstein, Av Beit Din of Rozdol, son-in-law of the holy Rebbe Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichov.


First Edition. Lemberg (Lviv), 1853. Printed by M. F. Poremba.


Includes an approbation from the holy Rebbe Chaim Halberstam of Sanz (the Divrei Chaim). At the end of the sefer appears a letter from the author's widow, titled: “Words of the daughter of our holy master of blessed memory – I am the grieving woman, the widow of the saintly author of blessed memory – who brought this composition to the printing house.” She signs as Sarah, daughter of the famous and holy Rebbi Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichov.


The sefer was in fact brought to print by the author’s son-in-law, Rebbi Yechezkel Shraga Halberstam of Shinova, the son of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz.
