The holy Tzaddik Rebbi Avraham Steiner of Kerestir, of blessed memory (1883–1927), was the only son and successor of the tzaddik Rebbi Yeshayale of Kerestir, of sainted memory, who placed both his hands upon him [in blessing]. He became renowned as a worker of salvations throughout the land. His home was open wide to all who were in need, and thousands came to his dwelling.
