Avraham Lasker, cantor (shatz) and shochet u’bodek of the Beit El congregation. Also signed in English by the groom and by the witnesses Raphael Cohen and Bergman. An exceptionally rare, early New York ketubah! It is noteworthy that the ketubah was printed in New York and its surroundings, with unique wording such as “in the State of North America” and the sum listed as “fifty dollars.”
