2. Sefer Divrei Tzaddikim – Novellae on the Torah and collections on the Prophets, Writings, and Talmudic tractates, by the holy Rebbi Dov Berish Frumer of Oświęcim.


First edition. Zolkiew, c. 1845. The printing date on the title page, 1826 (תקפ"ו), is incorrect, since the author is mentioned on the title page with the “blessing for the deceased” and passed away on 20 Kislev 1838, as stated in the introductions to later editions. Furthermore, one of the approvers, Rabbi Moshe Yaakov Scharf, was appointed rabbi of Oświęcim only after 1840.

7. Sefer Likutei Torah – Guidance, moral, and Chassidic teachings by the holy Rebbe Mordechai Twersky of Chernobyl, brought to print by his grandson, R. Zusia Yitzchak son of R. Yechiel Michel of Talomtch, father of the holy Rebbe Mordechai Dov Twersky of Hornosteipel. With approbations by great Chassidic leaders: the “Divrei Chaim” of Sanz, Rebbe Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura, and the Gaon Rabbi Yeshayah Shor, Rabbi of Iasi.


Second printing of the first edition (in the same year, two editions were published — one with a page of corrections at the end, and the other with the errors already corrected. The present copy is from the second printing).

This edition was published by his grandson, the holy Rebbi Moshe Hager of Radovitz. At the end is printed a letter from the holy Rebbi Ze’ev Wolf of Czarny Ostrów to the Ahavat Shalom of Kosov.

9. Sefer Minchat Yitzchak – Siftei Tzaddikim – Discourses on the Torah from many great Chassidic leaders, and at the end, stories from the holy Rebbi Meir of Premishlan. By the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik ben Rabbi Shmuel Shmelke Tauibish.


Only Edition. Lemberg, 1890.

Rebbi Yisrael Hager (1876–1940), son of the holy Rebbi Moshe of Radovitz (Rădăuți), succeeded his father and served as Rebbe in Radovitz. In 1913 he emigrated to the United States, where he established a Beit Midrash in Manhattan, on the famous Wall Street.


He founded the Torat Chaim Yeshiva and worked to inspire American Jews toward the observance of the mitzvot. In 1919 he established an orphanage in Safed and supported it financially. He also assisted Rebbi Yisrael Hager of Vizhnitz in fundraising efforts on behalf of the residents of Eretz Yisrael.
