This is the first edition of the sefer by one of the patriarchs of Chassidut in Poland. Approbations appear at the beginning by Rebbi Yeshayah Muscat and the Admo"r the author of Chiddushei HaRi"m of Gur. "Iggeret Peshischa" by Rebbi Simchah Bunim is printed at the end of the sefer, signed by Rabbi Simchah Bunim, his disciples and his son - a letter about 'the secret of Rosh HaShanah' that is studied closely by Chassidim to this day.

Signature & stamp of the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Ferber (1879-1966, Otsar Ha-Rabanim 17400) born in Slobodka, studied in the prestigious Slobodka yeshivah, as well as under such Talmudic and Musar giants as Rabbi Yitzhak Elhanan Spektor, Rabbi Yitzchak Blazer and Rabbi Naftali Amsterdam, disciples of Rabbi Yisrael of Salant . He came to England in 1910, where he founded "Va'ad Ha-Rabanim Ha-Haredim" in London. He was a leading rabbinical scholar and headed an independent community in the West End of London. First Rosh Yeshiva of Manchester Yeshiva. Among his works: " Kerem Ha-Tzvi", "Hikrei Halachot", "Siach Tzvi" etc.
