Description:
Chok L’Yisrael, Part II – Shemot. A compilation of selected passages from the Bible and Rabbinic literature, founded according to the teachings of the Maharchu (Rabbi Chaim Vital), as received from his master the AriZal. Brought to print by Rabbi Yaakov son of Rabbi Avraham Zak, Rabbi of Szarogród (Sharhorod).
Lemberg, 1788. Printed by Rabbi Shlomo Yarish Rapoport. In the same press and the same year, the sefer Noam Elimelech by the holy Rebbi Elimelech of Lizhensk was printed for the first time – it is well known that the workers of that press were attributed with lofty spiritual levels in divine service.
This special Chassidic edition was published with rare approbations (in Part I, which is not present) from great Chassidic masters: the holy Rebbi Yissachar Ber of Zlotchov; the holy Rebbi Yaakov Yosef (Rabbi Yeibi), rabbi of the community of Ostroh; the holy Rebbi Ze’ev Wolf of Cherni-Ostrah, and others.
Extremely Rare!
Part Shemot, complete and in beautiful condition, with two title pages, the first decorated with fine ornaments, at its head a water jug and fish.

Overall Excellent Condition, couple stains, one very minor marginal wormhole in last few pages, new binding.
