Magnificent Havdalah Compendium Stand by Yaakov Davidoff – Sterling Silver, 24-Carat Gold Plated, and Enamel on Marble Base - An extraordinary and intricate Havdalah compendium stand, a true masterpiece created by the renowned Judaica artist Yaakov Davidoff. Crafted in Israel entirely by hand, this unique piece combines sterling silver plated in 24-carat gold with richly detailed enameled designs and a polished marble base, resulting in a ceremonial object of rare grandeur and beauty. At its core rests a Kiddush goblet designated for the blessing over wine, bearing in fine enamel the phrase “בורא פרי הגפן” (Borei Pri Hagafen). Rising above it is an elegant besamim tower, surmounted with a finely worked spire and crowned by a delicate acorn finial. Upon the besamim container is inscribed the blessing “בורא מיני בשמים” (Borei Minei Besamim). Built seamlessly into the structure’s lower tier, a candle holder provides for the Havdalah flame, with the base beautifully enameled with the blessing “בורא מאורי האש” (Borei Me’orei Ha’esh). The design draws its inspiration from Russian imperial architecture, with ornate columns, arched panels, and a domed crown richly embellished in alternating red, white, and gold enamel. Surrounding the structure are finely worked gilt-silver foliate motifs, acorn terminals, and classical cartouches that frame Hebrew inscriptions with elegance and reverence. The piece is designed to open up, revealing its integrated compartments that ingeniously house all items required for the Havdalah service. Together, the marble foundation, gilded silver, and enameled artistry produce an effect of stately majesty, underscoring the importance of Havdalah as a sacred transition from Shabbat to the weekday. Yaakov Davidoff is a celebrated Israeli silversmith and Judaica artist, internationally recognized for his intricate, hand-crafted ceremonial works. Blending traditional Jewish ritual art with stylistic influences from Russian and European design, Davidoff’s creations are instantly recognizable for their architectural inspiration, lavish enamel ornamentation, and use of sterling silver overlaid with 24-carat gold. Each work is painstakingly made by hand in Israel, often taking months to complete, and reflects both devotion to Jewish tradition and a mastery of artistic technique. His pieces are treasured by collectors and synagogues worldwide as some of the most innovative and opulent Judaica of the modern era. 27 x 27 x 46cm
