I am happy to take part in your celebration … and may the Almighty, in the merit of our holy forefathers of blessed memory, help you raise them to Torah, marriage, and good deeds, with joy and abundance. As for our livelihood, thank God, it is day-to-day, and my dear family, may they live, are in complete health, may God continue to help. As for our surroundings, it is a fine place, but people here are extremely busy beyond imagination, and from one Shabbos to the next we hardly see each other. May the Almighty gather the dispersed of His people Israel with abundance.” The Holy Rebbi Shmuel Zvi Horowitz ”Rebbe Hershel Spinker” was the Rebbe of Spinka in the United States.
