She’elot U'Teshuvot by Rabbi Baruch Angel, Only Edition, Thessaloniki, 1707 - She’elot u-Teshuvot by Rabbi Baruch Angel, Only Edition, Thessaloniki, 1707 (תע”ז) The author was one of the leading rabbis of Thessaloniki in the 17th century. He studied at the yeshiva of Rabbi Chaim Shabtai in Thessaloniki and later served as its head. He was a decisor (posek), preacher (darshan), rabbi, and head of the Yeshiva Chevra Talmud Torah in Thessaloniki, and also served as rabbi of the local community there. Later, he moved to Izmir, where he continued teaching Torah. Among his students were: Rabbi David Conforti, author of Koreh HaDorot; Rabbi Shlomo ben Shmuel Florentin, author of Dorshei Mishpat; and Rabbi Yitzchak Florentin.
