Lev David (by the Chid”a). First Edition, Livorno 1794. - Sefer Lev David, comprising thirty-two chapters of ethical exhortations. The first six chapters are from the manuscript of our master Rabbi Chaim Vital; the remaining twenty-six chapters are by Maran Rabbenu Chaim Yosef David Azulai (the Chid”a). At the end of the sefer are appended the booklet “Berit Olam”, glosses on Sefer Chasidim, and the booklet “Shomer Ha-Berit”, containing corrections and addenda to Berit Olam. First Edition.
