Piyyutim and songs for Simchat Torah. At the beginning is the printers’ introduction, Kol Medabber (“A Speaking Voice”), discussing the customs of the Ari (R. Isaac Luria) regarding the hakafot. In some of the poems, the melody instructions is indicated in Ladino. On leaf 25: “A precious piyyut heard in Jerusalem on Simchat Torah, ” opening: “There is none mighty like the Lord, and none blessed like the son of Amram.” At the end: a Mi she-Berach for the Grand Duke of Tuscany, for the congregation, and additional prayers.
