Venice, printed by the Bragadin Press at the house of Giovanni Cagion, 1606–1616. Extremely rare edition. Printer’s autograph signature: An early and important machzor (festival prayer book). See Introduction to the Roman Rite Machzor, p. 117, nos. 16–17. On the title page appears the printer’s autograph signature: “Printed by me, the young Abraham ben Ḥaman” (see Habermann, ibid.). Machzorim according to the Roman rite are known in various variants; some were assembled from earlier editions together with newly printed leaves added to complete missing sections, by printers in Venice and Mantua.
