Sha'arei Kedushah / Alim La-Terufah. Aleppo, 1866. - Sefer Sha'arei Kedushah, by Rabbi Chaim Vital, Aleppo, 1866, bound together with Alim La-Terufah, Iggeret Ha-Ramban (The Ramban's Ethical Epistle), Iggeret Ha-Gra (The Vilna Gaon's Epistle), and Orchot Chaim by the Rosh, all printed in Aleppo in 1866. The edition of Iggeret Ha-Gra included here differs substantially from the first printed edition of 1836, and numerous scholarly studies have been devoted to the textual variations found in this version. The Aleppo printing represents the first appearance of the Vilna Gaon's famous epistle to be published in the Middle East. The texts of Iggeret Ha-Ramban and Orchot Chaim also contain notable textual variants compared to earlier editions. Signed and stamped by Rabbi Nissim Attia of Haifa.
