The approbations also mention that an endorsement from the holy Rebbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, the famed “Defender of Israel”, had not yet arrived: “His approbation has been delayed on the road and has not yet reached the printing house. Since the printers are eager to complete their work, we have not printed it at present. God willing, when his holy letter of approbation reaches us, we shall print it at the end of the sefer—for the best is saved for last.” However, this approbation was never published. 124, [1] leaves; 19.7 cm.
