Chassidit & Kabbalah: Limmudei Atzilut, Kabbalah according to the teachings of the Arizal as recorded by Rabbi Chaim Vital, from a manuscript of Rebbi Moshe Sofer of Pshevorsk. First Edition, Lemberg 1850. - Sefer Limmudei Atzilut, a kabbalistic work attributed to teachings received by Rabbi Chaim Vital from his master the Arizal, printed from a manuscript of Rebbi Moshe Sofer of Pshevorsk, with his glosses incorporated into the text. First Edition. Lemberg (Lwów), 1850. ''The work had remained hidden in manuscript form, preserved among leading sages, and had never been printed like other writings of the Arizal until it was discovered and brought to press from the holy manuscript of the kabbalist Rebbi Moshe Sofer of Pshevorsk, whose annotations appear in several places''. The sefer gained great sanctity in chasidic circles and is cited in kabbalistic writings of later generations, including works of the Chabad and Komarno dynasties. In recent times (2008), it was reprinted by the Komarno Rebbe from additional manuscripts preserved among major kabbalists, including a manuscript associated with Rabbi Shalom Sharabi (the Rashash), with glosses from his disciple and his descendants. Some scholars attributed the work to Rabbi Yosef Sarug, a disciple of the Arizal, while others-most notably the Baal HaSulam, argued that the text had been altered by a later editor.
