Alice Schille was an American artist known for her watercolor paintings. She was part of the Impressionist and Post Impressionist movements and often depicted markets, women, children, and landscapes. Born in 1869 in Columbus, Ohio, she also passed away in her hometown in 1955. Schille studied at the Columbus Art School in Ohio and the Art Students League of New York. Her work has been exhibited at the Canton Museum of Art, the Columbus Museum of Art, the El Paso Museum of Art, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Ohio State University, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Art Club of Philadelphia, and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
