Eleven Likely Charles Boyton Antique Spoons and Six Larger Antique Serving Spoons
Lot contains 11 spoons @ approx 7" long, these are hallmarked "CB" with four other hallmarks (see pictures please). Spoons test approx 94 parts silver - are not marked "Sterling" - together these weigh 17.2 troy ounces. Charles Boyton is particularly well known in the world of English silver for his highly sought after Art Deco pieces. However, it is far less well known that his great grandfather founded the company in 1825. There are six other (serving) spoons included - these are early and have multiple hallmarks (see pics), and they test between 92 and 95 parts silver. These serving spoons also have monograms - all could be heavily plated, research your hallmarks please. Six serving spoons weigh 10.26 troy ounces.
