Charalambos Doumas (Greece, 1910-1991) – Portrait of a Greek Man - An antique painting from the early 20th century oil on canvas, unsigned Image size: 60 x 46 cm Frame size: 73 x 59 cm Charalambos Doumas (Ντούμας Χαράλαμπος) was born in Athens in 1910. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in 1935 under the tutelage of Spiros Vikatos. His career included numerous personal exhibitions in Athens (1935, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1960, 1964, 1975), as well as in Paris (1961) and New York (1962) He also participated in group exhibitions of ASKT students and exhibited at the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus His works are featured in the National Gallery and in private collections across Greece, the USA, and Great Britain
